Richi’s Journey Inspires Everything We Do

On November 29, 2011, Richi, originally from Spain, was diagnosed with high-risk medulloblastoma, a highly aggressive childhood brain tumor. To receive the best possible care, his family relocated to the United States for treatment at Boston Children's Hospital | Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they now reside.

Richi bravely endured 26 surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. Now 19, he continues to face a wide range of neurocognitive, physical, and psychological side effects resulting from treatment. His resilience and determination are the driving force behind the Richi Foundation.
